This project was part of John Lewis’s Christmas campaign. An online competition where kids described some of the top products available to buy at John Lewis for Christmas. I directed this series of short films and it was a great pleasure to work with the team at John Lewis and with the agency Adam and Eve. We shot these over 2 days working with a good range of talented kids. The brief was to ensure that stylistically it felt like a John Lewis communication and to create something that was warm and entertaining. The end result was 12 films that form a really charming addition to the overall John Lewis Christmas campaign.

I was commissioned by Prime Focus to shoot a behind the scenes film to accompany the filming of the latest Which Mobile commercial. The piece needed to give a quick glimpse of the day’s action in an upbeat and engaging way. They asked for a DSLR shoot, partly for aesthetic reasons and partly for practical reasons. They wanted the camera to be small, manoeuvrable and able to cope in low light. I shot with the 7D on a simple hand-held rig and was able to capture the highlights of the day.
