TreeHouse

TreeHouse is a national autistic charity with a school in North London. I was commissioned to make this film to highlight the issues of improving the practice of inclusion in mainstream and in specialist schools.

The film was used to support a TreeHouse presentation at the party political conferences and is an excellent example of how film can convey detailed and specific information in an interesting and engaging way. The feedback for the film was excellent and is also demonstrates the power of film when it comes to raising awareness of issues and influencing policy decisions.

EC1 Day

EC1 Day is a corporate film with a difference. It highlights some of the key achievements of the EC1 New Deal for Communities (NDC) programme. The brief for the film was to present the work of EC1 in an interesting and engaging way. Most importantly, they were keen to break away from the ‘dry’ format that they associated with corporate films and wanted something that told a story.

Working with the team at EC1, I developed the concept of EC1 Day – a passage across the EC1 area which over the course of one day highlights the huge range of the programme’s initiatives.

EC1 NDC is one of 39 NDC partnerships across England, funded by central government to kick start the regeneration of deprived neighbourhoods.

EC1 NDC started its work in April 2001 and has funded and supported hundreds of projects aimed at improving health, education, employment and training, services for young people and the quality of the local environment.

Raleigh India o8 – Community Phase

The Community phase of the Raleigh expedition to India in 2008 saw the venturers live and work with the community of Hosekerasunda to build 30 eco-sanitation toilets.

Raleigh – Cycling

The Adventure phase of the 2008 expedition to India was broken up into three activities. This film documents the cycling phase. The venturers cycled for several days in Southern India working their way towards the Kerala coast where they began the next section of their adventure – the kayakking.

Raleigh – Kayaking

In 2008 Raleigh International undertook their first expedition to India. In this film, the venturers begin the Kayaking section of the Adventure phase of the expedition. They had cycled for several days to the Kerala coast before climbing into Kayaks to travel the Kerala backwaters.
