Joe,

Wow, good stuff. One day, one location, two actors, and it really works. You're very talented. I can't wait to look at the rest of the stuff up here.

Josh,

Thanks for the comments. We shot this with a Sony EX1 and Letus adapter with a mixture of Nikon lenses. Right now, I would probably advise you to look at a DSLR. The main reason for this is that it is affordable and you can experiment with a wide range of lenses. You can also shoot in very low light. I know you said money isn't an issue - but if you have a look at the stuff I shot with the Panasonic GH1 - which is the most affordable of the current crop of DSLRs, you can get some great results. I definitely think the best thing to do is just get out there and do it.

The Echo is very much an experiment - and was borne out of wanting to make an impactful film with limited resources. I hope it proves that you can createa film with juts 2 actors and a single location.

Hey,

I was wondering what camera and lenses/adapters you used for "the echo" video
Curious to get some equipment and was looking for some advice, i'm just a film student a year away from graduation - but freelancing would be great at some point - money isn't much of an issue - knowledge is

Thanks - great work by the way
